"Stories of Jesus” – Many of the stories Jesus told were to help us understand that He was a king and He was building a kingdom; as He builds His Kingdom, He shows us how we should live. In His Kingdom, we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love others. His Kingdom grows everyday in the little things that we do to show His love through us.

Jesus’ Story – “What the Kingdom of Heaven is Like…”
Matthew 13:31-33, NLT
31 Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”
33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”
• God is at work in our world, but sometimes we don’t notice. What keeps us from seeing the good that God does?
• People who believe in Jesus are to show love to their neighbours. How can we do that?
• Often the kind things we do for people seem small. But what does Jesus tell us about small things?
• What could you do today that may seem small, but will help spread God’s love and grow His kingdom?
1 Corinthians 16:14 - “Do everything with love.”
Prayer - Thank you, God, that we can know you care about us and love us. Jesus, help us to see the ways that you are spreading and growing your kingdom in this world. Please change us, so that we can serve you and love others.
